Significance
Historical: Because of the educational system, many people get better professions at home and even overseas, which has a 100% significant positive impact on the lives of the people in Naisud and the nearby barangays of Bugtongbato, Buenavista, Regador, and San Isidro.
Aesthetic: The school has its unique ambiance due to the presence in the campus of fruit-bearing trees like Java Plum, rose apple, star apple, mango, jackfruit and many more. Aside from that, the seaside location adds breezy atmosphere especially during the northeast monsoon season.
Economic: Due to the institution's presence in the neighborhood, residents of Naisud and the adjacent barangays had the opportunity to receive an education, which led to a better standard of life.
Social: The school organizes several events to foster a sense of community among the stakeholders and students like MAPEH Day, Intramural, Career Day, Heritage Month and many more, which also provides an opportunity for children to learn while having fun.
When the Naisud Covered Pavement wasn't yet built, barangay assembly meetings were held in the school. Additionally, the school served as a distribution point for the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) during the pandemic for the residents in the neighborhood.
Spiritual: For Catholic students, there is a monthly mass, and non-Catholics can attend bible readings. As part of its assistance to the barangay for the religious festival, the school is organizing events.
Assessment of the Institution
Condition/Status of the Institution
"Hugod Naisud!" is the official motto of Naisud National High School.", the Naisud NHS remains committed to helping students in the 21st century by giving them high-quality instruction and relevant learning opportunities that will boost their confidence as they travel down the path to the future.
In actuality, the epidemic has not dimmed the teachers' fervent desire to discover the potential of their students and to consistently provide the top services that the students demand. The learners choose Naisud National High School since it had low dropout rates in the years before the pandemic, thus they could enroll there. They got the impression from this that the school is seriously devoted to carrying out the DepEd's mission and vision. Additionally, the learners claim that they choose this school because we provide a variety of sports for them to participate in and build their self-esteem, skill set, and mental health to prepare them for higher education. The students added that their parents picked the institution since it has generated educated and skilled alumni both locally and internationally. In addition to these, the principal, instructors, and staff at the school, as well as the school grounds, are quite hospitable, giving the students a very comfortable, laid-back, and congenial environment in which to learn and become ready for the future. While other students moved in from other institutions because of the school's good and promising performance in sports including basketball, sepak takraw, boxing, wushu, and arnis, which has sent student-athletes to regional and national competitions.
Constraints/Threats/Issues/Challenges:
The poor internet connection is one of the biggest obstacles faced throughout the teaching-learning process. In addition, lack of access to devices as extra learning tools prevents other students from learning. Work-related absences, particularly among SHS students, are a problem, and some students have reading difficulties because of the modular distance learning system.
Measures and Description of Safeguarding Measures Taken
Due to the presence of piso-wifi, the connection issue in the neighborhood was a simple one. To support the learning process, digital and physical resources were provided to students who did not have gadgets and had jobs. To motivate kids, teachers also visit homes, speak with parents, and recognize students' accomplishments, from the most basic to the most promising. The Reading Remediation Program-BASA Buddy was implemented by the school's English teachers as part of a project to help struggling readers, who are now performing better in class.
