- Mrs. Wenefreda Ureta Taran::: was born on June 15, 1948 in Joyao-Joyao, Numancia Aklan. She attended Bugasongan Primary School from Grade 1 through Grade 4 (1953–1956) then transferred to Numancia Elementary School for Grades 5–6 in (1956–1960). She attended high school at Madyaas Institute (1961 – 1965). She completed her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education major in Home Economics at Northwestern Visayan Colleges and graduated in 1970. After passing the Board Examination for Teachers (BET) in 1978. She completed her academic requirements for the Master of Arts in Educational Management at Northwestern Visayan Colleges. Married to Rodulfo Macahito Taran, a former barangay captain of Bugasongan and current Sangguniang Bayan Member of the Municipality of Lezo. They were blessed with seven children namely; Denny, Redentor, a former barangay captain of Bugasongan and member of the Sangguniang Bayan of Lezo (deceased), Realyn, Raquel, Dowen, Ryan, and Rogen.
