She studied her Secondary Education at Madalag Community High School in 1966 to 1970 and graduated as Class Salutatorian the first graduates of Madalag Community High School . She pursued her college education at Aklan College BSE Graduate-1970-1975, she graduated at Aklan College-Bachelor of Secondary Education (Inverted) 1985- 1985. She then pursued her Graduate Studies at Northwestern Visayan Colleges taking up Master of Arts in Education, (CAR) 1982-1987.

Mrs. Teodora I. Nagal started her career as Secondary School Teacher of Madalag Barangay High School from October 8, 1976 to March 5, 1977 as Provisional Substitute and designated as regular permanent in June 16, 1985. In June 17, 1985 to January 1, 1906 she serve as Elementary Grade School Teacher in Madalag, Elementary School and retired as Master Teacher II. Based on her service record her achievements served as an inspiration to Madalagnon where she started and retired her service in her municipality the district of Madalag. After she retire as Public School teacher, she continued her service as religious volunteer. She had served as sacred heart of Jesus from 1985, Mother Butler Guild in 1903, Lectors and Commentators in 2006, Medalla Milagrosa Couple of Christ in 2008. A member of Madalag teachers League in 1984 to Present and Madalag Teachers Madalag Teachers Multi-Purpose Cooperative in 1992 to Present. During her term she attended several seminars and workshops, authored ordinances and sponsored scholarship to poor but deserving students and I am so proud to be one of the recipients. She adhered to the values as expected of her as a true blooded Libacaonon. She left the legacy of public service both as a teacher and as a public servant. A legacy that will last for generations.
