STORIES/NARRATIVES/BELIEFS/PRACTICES ASSOCIATED WITH ARCHIVAL HOLDING

To unlock the secrets from the past, to revive a forgotten memory, a task that opened our minds to something erstwhile and worthwhile. A chance to dig up the past by meeting one of the Pilot’s pride, Mrs. Nynn Arwena Dalida Garcia-Tamayo, the second Editor-in-Chief of the school paper The Pilot Star (The Pilot Star 2013).

1969 alumna Mrs. Tamayo shared about the things she did as the leader of their organ, on how hard to collect articles from people with different attitudes which was actually worth doing. And when the time came to distribute the school paper, they would always have their heads held high, proud that they were able to come up with such literature, a product of their hard work and great effort.

According to Mrs. Tamayo, she has been molded into a better person who learned and acquired a sense of responsibility and teamwork. All these started when she became an editor-in-chief – big thanks to our school paper.

Advised the young journalists of the generation to be sensitive and aware of the things that are happening around us and make news that has meaning, news that can give significant information and can change readers’ belief.
